Cancellation

I ask that any cancellations are made at least 48 working hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at 50% of the price of the groom quoted to you.

Health Issues

Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming. Please ensure that you advise of any medical conditions on Soggy Paws Pet Spa disclaimer before your pets groom. All medical expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the pet's owner upon signing the agreement. If your dog suffers from any skin conditions which require a specific shampoo treatment, this must be provided by the owner. I only use high quality products when grooming therefore preventing the risk of any negative skin reactions.

Accidents

Although accidents are very rare, there is a risk when dealing with animals. Grooming equipment is sharp, and although I use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. In most cases this can happen when an animal is wiggling or moving around. Your pet’s safety and comfort is my number one priority. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified immediately. I am fully insured.

Fleas and Ticks

If your dog has any fleas they will be given a flea bath at your expense of £10. This fee covers the cost of the treatment as well as fumigation of the Salon afterwards. Please keep up to date with preventative treatment. If you suspect your dog may have fleas, please let me know as I will try to book your appointment for the last of the day to prevent further infestation to other customers. Ticks will be removed free of charge and you will be notified if any are found.
